Facilitation is a highly flexible tool that enables a firm, department or project team address important issues constructively. A Sherwood facilitator leads the group through the issues, helps them tease out and address the options and debate their respective merits. Finally, the facilitator draws the series of discussions towards agreed conclusions that can then be implemented.
The success of a facilitated away day or retreat depends in large part on the experience and skill of the facilitator(s). We work with you to identify the desired outcome of the away day or retreat and to design the programme. We draw upon a variety of tested tools and techniques that will make sure that the event is not like just another partners’ or department meeting. Our purpose is to help you achieve your objectives whilst ensuring that participants enjoy themselves and build stronger bonds with each other by working together. Depending on the size of the gathering we can provide one or more facilitators who are used to working together and have complementary styles.
We help firms from the largest to the smallest as well as in-house legal departments and barristers’ chambers. There are several of us in Sherwood who do this work.
