Christopher Stoakes leaves Sherwood more details >
June 2007
Christopher Stoakes is leaving Sherwood on 31 May to become Head of Legal Training at the international law firm Lovells. Chris has a long-term interest in, and commitment to, training and education. During the last year or two he has combined his Sherwood activities with the role of Corporate Relations Director of the College of Law's Moorgate Centre, in the City of London, as well as his writing and consulting activities. Chris was one of the seven original founding members of Sherwood. He will be very much missed here. All our best wishes for the new job, Chris. |

During November, we are running a Bar workshop - Building Effective Teams And Groups. This is specifically for those involved in managing and leading teams within Chambers - heads of chambers, chief executives, senior clerks, management committee members and heads of practice groups. This workshop represents an opportunity for you to learn about and discuss relevant management issues relating to effective team building. In particular we will focus on clerking teams, practice groups and top management teams – and the working relationships between them. The workshop will take place in London on 14 November, Manchester on 21 November and Leeds on 22 November. Full details and a booking form are avaliable for download or on request from our office. |
